1. Filler cap
The cord (1) of the cap retainer will be clipped
directly to an eye in the engine housing from
machine number X 28 020 718. The hook (2) is no
longer installed on the production line. Eyes are
provided for the cord in the fuel and oil tanks of
new engine housings.
The part number of the engine housing remains as
before.
Service note
A filler cap with hook will continue to be supplied
for replacement purposes.

The hook has to be removed before fitting the
filler cap in an engine housing equipped with

2. Hand guard
The original hand guard 1123 792 9100 will be
replaced by hand guard 1123 790 9150.
In order to further standardize parts the bushing
1123 792 5500 (1) will be replaced by sleeve 1
1127 791 7200 (2). The hand guard has been
modified at the fan side to take the new sleeve.
The new hand guard will be supplied with sleeve
1127 791 7200 and an instruction sheet to ensure
easy replacement. 2

as alternative equipment on the production line,
will not be installed in future. The component parts

4. Exhaust muffler
The muffler will be secured with an M5-10 flange
locknut 9216 263 0700 from machine number
X 28 016 918.
Only the new nut will be available as a replacement
in future.
Tightening torque: 7 Nm (5.2 lbf.ft)

5. Fuel intake hose / pickup body
The original fuel intake hose 1123 358 7700 will be
replaced by the new hose 1123 358 7701.
In the interests of standardizing parts the original
pickup body 1120 350 3500 will be replaced by pik-
kup body 0000 350 3500.
Compared to the original pickup body, the new
version has a larger filter area.
Service note
The new pickup body can only be installed
together with the S-shaped hose.
The intake hose and pickup body will therefore be
available as a set (1123 350 3650) for a period of
about 3 years.
