1.   Fuel hose

The elbow connector in the fuel tank was deleted
from machine number X 25 117 539 (see TI 17.92).
Grommet (A) 0000 989 0816 has been used for
some time to locate the fuel hose 4203 358 7600.
The original grommet will be replaced by grommet
(B) 4221 353 9201 to further improve reliability.

The new grommet 4221 353 9201 should be installed

as a matter of routine in all machine versions without  A                             B
elbow connector which are brought into STIHL repair
shops for repairs or servicing work of any kind.
Machines already equipped with grommet 0000 989 0816 should be converted to grommet 4221 353 9201.

A detailed instruction sheet is included with the fuel hose.
A warranty application should submitted for reimbursement of the repair expenses incurred.

Gasket 4203 129 0900 or 4114 129 0501 should be replaced every time the carburetor is removed.

2. Fanwheel

In order to further improve operating efficiency, the
present fanwheel 4203 704 3400 (aluminium die

casting) will be replaced in future by fanwheel

4203 704 3401 (polymer).
