1. Cylinder gasket
A coated steel gasket will be installed in model 066 saws from machine number X 29 588 802.
The setting behavior of the screwed assembly is better with this new version of the gasket than with the
previous version. The new gasket has an 0.06 mm (0.0024 in) coating of rubber on both sides.
The coating therefore ensures improved resilience and compensates for uneveness between the cylinder and
crankcase mating faces.
Repairs
In the event of a repair the new version of the
gasket must be installed with the raised side poin-
ting up (see illustration). The gasket may be used
once only. A new gasket must be installed
whenever the cylinder is removed and refitted.
The steel gasket (0.5 mm) must not be installed
in countries where low-compression machines
(1.0 mm cylinder gasket) are used.

2. HD filter
In future the prefilter 1124 141 0300 will be replaced
by the version 1124 141 0301 in order to prolong
the intervals between cleanings.
Instead of foam, the new version of the prefilter
is made of needled felt with fabric plies (100%
polyester).

optimized seal in direction of filter 1 = Prefilter 1124 141 0300

● Easier to remove and install
