Model 021, 023, 025 Chain Saws - Series 1123
Contents
1. Chain brake (flat spring replaces cam lever)
2. Rewind starter (rewind spring with sheetmetal holder)
1. Chain brake
,
To further improve operation, the cam lever
1123 162 5010 with helical spring 0000 997 0628
will be replaced by flat spring 1123 162 7800 from
machine number X 28 310 255.
The engine housing has been modified slightly as a
result of this change: One hole (pivot for cam lever)
and the original notched pin for anchoring the
helical spring are no longer necessary and have
been deleted. An additional rib is provided to
support the flat spring.
Service note
The original cam lever cannot be used if a new ver-
sion of the engine housing is installed in a machine
up to No. X 28 310 254. To ensure trouble-free
repairs, a flat spring 1123 162 7800 will be supplied
with every new replacement engine housing. In the
event of repairs to the chain brake, the flat spring
can be installed in both the new and original ver-
sions of the engine housing.
