1. Oil line (070, 090)
The oil line will be press-fitted in the crankcase of
model 070 and 090 saws from machine number 1
X 30 676 407. This has necessitated a few
modifications to the crankcase.
The shape and size of the original tapped holes
were changed to accommodate the new oil line.

Service note
In order to ensure the necessary tightness, the
new version of the oil line is installed with a slight
preload. For this purpose a slightly raised portion
has been provided on the unmachined surface of
the cylinder flange to support the new oil line.
A suitable piece of wire may be used to carefully
clean the new version of the oil line.

2. Ignition system
The M3 x 10 pan head screw used to secure the dust cap to the retaining plate will be replaced by an
M3 x 12 pan head screw from machine number X 30 095 997. The extra reach of the new screw helps
prevent the thread in the retaining plate from being stripped.

3. Front handle
As from machine number X 29 906 077 the
handlebar bracket will be secured to the crankcase
with an M6 x 35 countersunk screw and V M6
locknut.
In future the countersunk screw and locknut will be
included in the scope of supply of the bracket.
Always use the new version of the handlebar
bracket when carrying out repairs.
