Model 029, 039 Chain Saws - Series 1127

&RQWHQWV

1. Chain brake (stronger brake spring, cover)

2. Pickup body (standardization)
3. 039 oil pump (feed rate increased)

1.====Chain brake

A higher strength brake spring will be installed
from machine number X 31 934 653=to further
optimize operation of the chain brake.
As the new brake spring has a slightly larger
diameter, the original cover 1127 021 1100 will

be replaced at the same time by the modified 02
                                                                                   11
cover 1127 021 1102. 021
                                                                          27
                                                                        11

Service note

                                                                                                               139TI008 K
The strengthened brake spring may only be

installed together with the new cover
1127 021 1102.
Therefore, to simplify interchangeability, the new
brake spring will only be supplied together with the

new cover up to the end of 1997.

2.====Pickup body

Fuel pickup body 0000 350 3500 has been
installed for some time in place of the original

to further improve operation and standardize parts
with other models

The new pickup body has a longer service life and
better filteration than the original version.

In the near future the new oil pump 1127 640 3201

(with a stroke of 0.88 mm/0.035 in) will be installed
in model 039 saws to increase the oil feed rate.
                                                                     1

Service note

Neither the "039 oil pump" nor the new pump
piston may be installed in model 029 chain saws
since the oil tank will otherwise run dry before the
fuel tank (because of the 029’s lower fuel
consumption). This may result in damage to the
bar and chain if the user doesn’t notice that the
oil tank is empty and continues cutting.

Older 039 chain saws may be upgraded by
installing the new piston with a stroke of 0.88 mm
(0.035 in) in the original oil pump 1127 640 3200.
