Contrary to the information in the parts list, switch
shaft 1128 180 0910 is installed in model 046
chainsaws. The original version 1128 180 0900 A
has been deleted.
The new shaft features a wedge-shaped lever for B
operating the choke shutter.

2.=Spiked bumper
In the course of repairs the spiked bumper/crankca-
se mounting screws should be secured with
Loctite 242.
3.=Air filter
The 046 parts list, issue 1995-09, on page 25,
illustration L, key number 7, shows the filter base
1128 124 3408 for model 044.
This is incorrect. Filter base 1128 124 3404 is
required for model 046.
