A piston ring which closes on a peg located on the
upper edge of the groove, instead of the center of
the groove, will be installed from machine number
X 33 249 875K=qhe original ring 1130 034 3000 will

be replaced by the new version 1130 034 3001.

The new piston ring ensures a better gas-tight seal
and effectively increases compression.

This helps improve engine performance and

starting behavior.

2.=Engine power increased

The position of the keyway in the flywheel has
been changed and this, in turn, has altered ignition
timing from 22 degrees to 27 degrees before
T.D.C.

The flywheel’s part number remains unchanged.

This modification and the improvement described
under 1 have resulted in an increase in engine
power. Mean engine power is now 1.2 kW

(1.6 bhp).
