Pole pruner STIHL HT 75 - type 4138

The new pole pruner STIHL HT 75 makes an ideal
tool for cutting and maintaining tree limbs.

The telescoping shaft allows the HT 75 to be
easily adjusted for length. The hook molded onto

the gearbox serves as a stop when sawing.

The machine is equipped with a powerful engine
(0.9 kW/1.2 HP) and weighs 14.6 lbs. fo
The power unit in the HT 75 is the same as that of
the brushcutters STIHL FS 75, 80 and 85. Other
assemblies (such as the control handle) are also

the same as in these brushcutter models.

The STIHL pole pruner is fitted with a
Picco-Mini bar and chain (as for the STIHL 017

chainsaw) with a bar length of 14 in.

6.2===Service notes

The STIHL HT 75 must be serviced and repaired
in accordance with the Repair Manual STIHL
FS 75, 80, 85, FC 75. Any service notes not
included there (telescoping shaft, gear) can be
found in TI 03.97.
The Repair Manual does not include a chapter on
"Repairing the carburetor" and "Troubleshooting",
nor does it contain standard repairs. These are
dealt with in special manuals.
