produced in a version with a groove width of 2.0 version length
mm (0.079") to complement the existing version Part No. cm (in)
with a groove width of 1.6 mm (0.063").
3080 000 9923 64 (25)
This means that STIHL guide bars with a groove 3080 000 9931 75 (30)
width of 2.0 mm (0.079") are now available in
lengths of 64 and 75 cm (25 and 30 in) for
harvesters which accept type 3080 guide bars.
As the rail width remains unchanged, the thickness
of the new bar has increased 0.4 mm (0.016") to
6.2 mm (0.24"). This has resulted in a 22%
increase in flexural stiffness.
All other product features are the same as those
of the type 3080 guide bar with a groove width of
1.6 mm (0.063") (see TI 42.92).
When used together with 40 RMH saw chain
(type 3996), with a drive link gauge of 2.0 mm
(0.079"), this guide bar offers the user an
extremely high-strength, heavy-duty cutting
attachment designed for tough professional
applications on high-powered machines. Page 2 of 2

Technical Documentation 5985 Extracted from the manufacturer's 2012 service catalogue. Most of these PDFs embed fonts with a shifted character map, so the text above was recovered rather than copied — read it as a faithful but imperfect transcription, and treat the page image above each block as the authority where the two disagree — the figures exist only there, because they are vector drawings that text extraction cannot keep.
