Model FS 360, FS 420 Clearing Saws - Series 4116

AV system (AV housing, annular buffers)

The AV system will be modified from machine num-

ber X 37 266 391 to further optimize its vibration
damping characteristics. Softer annular buffers will              1
be installed in the clutch housing and AV housing                                      3

for this purpose. The AV housing has also been                                                           2
modified to increase the gap between it and the
clutch housing.

Service notes

Do not combine component parts of the
original and new AV housings.

The new annular buffers (item 2) may only be
installed in the new version of the AV housing
since the parts of the housing could otherwise rub                                                           2
against one another and cause wear.                                                   4
