1. Carburetor, throttle cable
1.1 Throttle cable, throttle cable attachment
point on carburetor
The nipple (1) on the throttle cable (3) and the
pin (2) on the carburetor (4) will be modified in
the near future: The new throttle cable nipple has
a collar and the new pin on the carburetor has a
throughhole. fo 3

1.2 Parts availability

The carburetors will be equipped with the new pin
(6) for the modified throttle cable attachment point
(see 1.1). In addition, the original (2) will be
supplied with the carburetor. Throttle trigger attachment point on carburetor
The instructions illustrate which pin has to be used (original version)
(depending on the throttle trigger nipple). For new
part numbers see “New version” in Summary.
Throttle cables
Throttle cables with the original nipple (1) (without
collar) will remain available as replacements. They
will be supplied together with the original pin (2)
and an instruction sheet.
The part numbers of the throttle cables remain
unchanged.
To install in machines supplied with the throttle

cable with the new nipple (5), replace the pin (6)
on the carburetor with the pin (2) provided. 2 1 5 6

1.3 Service note
When servicing machines with the original throttle
cable attachment point, make sure that the throttle
cable nipple is properly seated in the pin on the
carburetor.
Adjust the throttle cable exactly as described in
the service manual.
When correctly adjusted, the nipple must not jump
out of the pin when the throttle trigger is suddenly
released from the fully open position.
