1. Deflector mounting (drive tube with sleeve,
deflector, clamp)
A sleeve is fitted to the drive tube to define the
correct position for mounting the deflector. The 1 3
sleeve increases the diameter of the drive tube in 4116 . . . . . . .
the clamp area to 37.5 mm (1.5") and is 50 mm
(2") long.
Deflector and clamp have been modified to suit the
bigger diameter. ø 37,5 mm ø 37,5 mm
This change is designed to help ensure correct
assembly of the tool deflector. The deflector can
now be secured only within the area of the sleeve
(immediately behind the gearhead). ø 37,5 mm
The drive tubes with sleeve, deflector and the
clamp have been given new part numbers. 2
Note: The integrally cast part number on the
inside of the new clamp begins with 4116 ... and
is therefore easy to distinguish from the original

version (4110 ...).

2. Fuel filler cap
In the foreseeable future the present fuel filler cap
4116 350 0501 will be replaced by the new version
4116 350 0502.
The function of the new filler cap has been further
improved by two filters (see arrows) made of
sintered material.

In order to simplify stockkeeping and help avoid
assembly errors, only the complete fuel filler cap
and the component parts of the cap retainer (cord
and hook) will be available as replacement parts
(see Summary).
The new fuel filler cap is also a replacement part
for models FS 160, 180, 220, 280, 360 and 420. 1
