Model 020 T Chainsaws - Series 1129

Contents

1. Chain sprocket cover (chain catcher, stop, notched pin)
2. Flywheel (rare earth magnet)

1. Chain sprocket cover

The sprocket cover 1129 640 1702 has been

modified to optimize chip flow. The original chain
catcher 1114 656 7705 has been deleted and
replaced by chain catcher 1129 656 7701 which is
mounted on the spiked bumper on the crankcase. fo

                                                                                  142TI005 KN

Stop 1129 162 6600 is now installed in the chain

sprocket cover to help reduce vibration of the

brake spring.

The original notched pin 5x24 has been replaced
by the longer notched pin 5x30 in order to simplify

assembly of the chain sprocket cover.

                                                                                     142TI006 KN

Service note:

Before fitting the new version of the chain sprocket
cover (with stop and chain catcher), use a suitable
tool to clean the locating bore in the cylinder (see
arrow).

2) Original version of part remains available as spare
3) New version of part can also be used in older machines
4) Original version of part will be supplied from factory only as long as existing stocks last

2. Flywheel fo
The original flywheel 1129 400 1200 will be
replaced by flywheel 1129 400 1201 from serial
number 1 41 340 992. It has been possible to
reduce the size of the magnets and the

counterweight by using a new magnet material
(rare earth). This in turn has reduced the overall
weight of the flywheel.
