1. Technical Description
The engine, shaft, control handle, loop handle as well as the angle drive and the construction of the blade
drive gear are exactly the same as those of the HL 75 (0°...90° version). Differences are described below.
Blade drive gear
• As on HL 75 hedge trimmer but with a guard 2
plate (1) screwed to the gearbox cover to
protect the underside of the housing.
Cutting blades
• As on HL 75 hedge trimmer, but with nose
guard (2) which is designed to help reduce the
risk of damaging the cutting blades.

6. Repairs
If the unit is started up in the course of repairs or maintenance work it is essential to observe all
local safety regulations and the safety precautions outlined in the owner’s manual.
Setting and testing data as well as other information are exactly the same as for model HL 75 hedge
trimmers and FS 75, 80 and 85 brushcutters.

6.2 Service note
Refer to the FS 75, 80, 85, FC 75, HL 75 service
manual for servicing and repair procedures on the
FH 75.
6.3 Repair times
The repair times for the FH 75 are exactly the
same as those listed for the HL 75 in TI 41.96
and the STIHL repair times table.
