This new cutting head has been designed specially
for casual-user brushcutters with a curved drive
shaft. This means that a lightweight version of the
Polycut is now available for all casual-user
brushcutters (FS 36, 40, 72, 75).
Benefits of new STIHL Polycut 5-3:

Wear indicators
Wear indicators are intergrally molded in the base of
the Polycut.!
1 The Polycut 5-3 must not be used if one of the round
holes (4) is visible or the inward projecting flange (5)

shattering and pieces being thrown and possibly
causing personal injury.

The cutting blade may be resharpened as often as
necessary until the two cutting edges form a point
(2). It should then be replaced.

The two-wing cutting blade 4001 713 3805 has a
diameter of 230 mm and is a new addition to the
line.
Compared with the four-wing cutting blade, this new
