New 3/8´ Oilomatic Rapid-Super Saw Chain
New factory grinding geometry
3/8” RS Oilomatic saws chains –
chain types 33 RS (3873), 35 RS (3881),
36 RS (3868) and 33 RSF (3953) as well as
3/8“ RSK (Classic) – 33 RSK (3874)
will be supplied with optimized cutter geometry in 60°
the future.
This change greatly improves the out-of-the-box
sharpness of these saw chains in comparison with
the previous grinding geometry:

.===`utting efficiency has been increased 16%
.===qhe required feed force has been reduced by
23%
The side plate angle is now 60° instead of the
previous 70°.
Saw chains with the modified cutter geometry can
be identified by a “NEW” label on the 100 ft.chain
reel and the outer packaging. This label will be
applied to the 100 ft. reels for the next few months.
