1.    Cut-off speed now 9,200 RPM
      (trigger unit, control valve)
Important: The special version of the TS 760 for
16” cutting wheels is not affected by this change
of trigger unit.
The cut-off speed will be raised from 8,400 RPM to
9,200 RPM from serial # 3 38 376 502 (on TS 510)
and 3 38 377 502 (on TS 760).

                                                                    The control valve 4205 120 8705 installed up to now
                      4205 400 1005                                 in carburetors 4205 120 0602 (TS 510) and 4205
                                                                    120 0603 (TS 760) has been replaced with version
                                                                    4205 120 8701. The new control valve is designed
                                                                    to suit the higher cut-off speed of the trigger unit.
                                                                    Limiting engine speed by enriching the mixture only

                                                                    takes place if the trigger unit fails.
                                                                    Valves can be identified by the stamped number
Top: Previous trigger unit 4205 400 1001                            (previously 070/15, now 070/16).
Bottom: New trigger unit 4205 400 1000                              The introduction of the new control valves has
                                                                    necessitated a change in the carburetor
                                                                    designations from HS 280 A to HS 280 B and from
Trigger unit                                                        HS 281 A to HS 281 B.

2.     Hose clip (impulse hose)
To provide greater security, the impulse hose will be
attached to the stubs on the crankcase and
carburetor with a hose clip (see illustration).
