1. New cutting tools
1.1 Shredder blade 320-2
The shredder blade 4000 713 3902 and the
shredder deflector 4116 710 8103 have to be
ordered for initial installation. This deflector comes
with all the necessary mounting hardware.
Mounting the deflector and cutting tool

Shredder blade 320-2 is available with immediate
effect for STIHL’s big power clearing saws. The new
cutting tool features optimized geometry and
material for an exceptionally long wear life.
A newly developed “shredder” deflector is available

specially for use with the shredder blade. This
deflector has a riveted aluminium skirt and is 1
extremely robust.
Notes: The new deflector replaces the previous

version 4116 710 8105 and is also very suitable for
use with the brush knife.

The deflector is mounted on a stepped sleeve (1) to

2. Clutch (cover plates)
A modified version of clutch 4116 160 2001 will be
installed from serial number 1 43 596 645: The new 6
cover plate 4116 162 1000 will be installed in front of 4
and behind the clutch shoes instead of the four 1
washers 0000 958 0809 installed up to now. 23
Parts availability: To ensure easy installation, the 4
replacement clutch will be supplied complete with 6
cover plates and mounting screws from now on. 5
