Model 017, 018 Chainsaws – Series 1130
Clutch, cover washer
A new cover washer 1121 162 1001 will be installed
in the near future between the oil pump and clutch. 6 5
In the event of a clutch spring breaking, the cover
washer helps prevent consequential damage to the 3
crankcase and oil pump. The clutch carrier and
clutch shoe retainers have been modified to T0
accommodate the cover washer.
Service note

The cover washer may be installed only together
with the modified clutch carrier and retainers.
If using the previous version of the clutch
with carrier (1121 162 3205) for repair purposes,
it must be installed without the cover washer.
Installation: The word “TOP” on the cover washer
must face the clutch.
