1. STIHL Rollomatic E Super .404”
guide bar – 150 cm (60”)
To further enhance operator convenience, the
existing 150 cm (60”) Duromatic will be replaced by
the new 150 cm (60”) Rollomatic E Super.
The longest guide bar in the line combines the
benefits of Rollomatic and Duromatic bars:
. Higher chain tension can be used from the start.
. Operator can work for longer periods before
having to retension the chain.

. Friction at bar nose is considerably reduced.
. Less wear on guide bar and chain.
Some countries specify the use of a helper’s handle Top: Slot in previous Duromatic bar

Its use is recommended in all other countries.
The slot for mounting the helper’s handle on the
Rollomatic has been moved 130 mm (5.1”) to the

helper’s handle to the guide bar.

2.2 New version
2.1 Updating existing helpers’ handles

Instruction sheets with all necessary information are
supplied with the above-mentioned parts kits.
4.1 Helper’s handle

The new extension arm connects the Rollomatic
guide bar (with offset slot) to the helper’s handle. All
joints are bolted.
If an old helper’s handle is used, it must first be
modified accordingly (see 2.1).
Assembly is as shown in the illustrated instruction 2 3
sheet (see 4.2) supplied with the helper’s handle or
extension arm.
3. Guard rail
To help reduce the risk of injury, guard rails are
available for long guide bars (105 cm/41” and
longer) for use in conjunction with the helper’s
handle.
STIHL recommends the use of a guard rail.
The following versions are available:
. Guard rail kit, 105 cm /41” (1124 007 1018)
. Guard rail kit, 120 cm/47” (1124 007 1019)
. Guard rail kit, 150 cm/60” (1124 007 1020)
