1. STIHL AutoCut® C 5-2 mowing head The new STIHL AutoCut® C 5-2 comprises the

The STIHL AutoCut® C 5-2 mowing head can be

1.2 Adjusting the nylon line 1.3.1 Removing scraps of nylon line

1.3 Refilling the mowing head
The mowing head must be examined for signs of
wear before refilling with fresh nylon line.

Important: STIHL recommends that the "quiet
mowing line" with 0.080“ diameter (green) – see
"Spare parts" – be used on machines with an electric
motor (FSE 60).
The "quiet line" also reduces the noise emitted by
machines with an internal combustion engine
(FS 45, FS 46).
4 . Cut a 13 foot length of nylon line from the reel
2 . Cut this length of nylon line into two halves
(A, B) measuring 6 feet 6 inches each

1.3.3 Spooling the nylon line
