Model MS 440 Chainsaws – Series 1128
Crankshaft
The previous crankshaft 1128 030 0405 will be
replaced from serial number 1 54 516 254 by
crankshaft 1128 030 0406 in order to further
improve wear life.
A carbonitrided big-end bearing is used for the new
crankshaft.
Lubricating recesses are machines in the big-end to
improve lubrication of the entire bearing area.

Four equidistant lubricating recesses are machined
in each end face of the big end.
