1. New sales designation for the 3.2 Operation
STIHL 088
3.2.1 Opening
The STIHL 088 chainsaws have been renamed
STIHL MS 880 in accordance with the new name
system (see TI 25.2000). The new name plate is
affixed to the shroud as in the past.
2. Shroud and rating plate
2.1 Shroud
The previous shroud 1124 080 1610 is replaced
by version 1124 080 1602.
