A new carburetor with compensator as well as a
new air filter system with a paper element have
been introduced on the MM 55 MultiEngine in order
to extend maintenance intervals and optimize filter
life.
1. Carburetor
A new C1Q-S93 carburetor 4140 120 0609 with a
compensator connection is now used.
The new carburetor also has a limiter cap on the H
screw.
The new carburetor can only be used together with
the new air filter system with a paper element.

1.1 Construction Do not re-install used limiter caps because they are
damaged during removal.
1.3 Service Note
The carburetor parts kit 4229 007 1060 can be used
for the new carburetor 4140 120 0609.
1.4 Spare Parts
The new C1Q-S93 carburetor is based on the
previous C1Q-S79. The new spare parts are
described in the latest parts documentation.
2. Air Filter System
The new carburetor has a compensator connection with Paper Element
on its flange which connects the carburetor to the air
filter housing. The new air filter system with its paper filter element
has a longer service life than the previous felt

1.2 Maintenance and Repairs

TI 45.2003. The only difference on the new
carburetor is the basic service setting without limiter
cap.
