To further improve functional reliability, the gearing The new oil pump 1121 640 3203 and the new worm

Service note / spare parts
The new oil pump can only be replaced as a
complete unit together with the new worm gear. The
spare parts for the previous oil pump and previous
worm gear remain available for previous versions.
After removing the clutch, the number on the worm
gear shows whether parts of the previous or new
version have been installed (see diagram).
Important! The number shown on the face of the
worm in the diagram is not an order number for
spare parts!
The previous and new oil pumps are outwardly
distinguished by the shape of the plug and bushing
(see arrows in diagram).
If malfunctions of an oil pump occur in machines
with the previous oil pump, we recommend
installation of the new oil pump and new worm gear.
The new oil pump (with new worm gear) are
172TI017 KN
included in a "oil pump conversion kit"
1121 007 1043 for older machines.
