1. Gear unit with friction clutch The friction clutch reduces the load on the drive

2. Drive shaft (HT 100)
To reduce the vibrations produced during operation,
the rigid drive shaft 4137 711 3200 is replaced by
the flexible drive shaft 4137 711 3202 on the pole
pruner STIHL HT 100.
Note on permissible attachment tools
Attachment tool HL 0° may no longer be used on the
HT 100 with flexible drive shaft. Machines with
flexible drive shaft can be identified from the gear
unit with friction clutch, see section 1.
Service note
The previous rigid drive shaft 4137 711 3200 must
be used when repairing existing machines without
friction clutch.
