1.1 Attachment
The new screw 9022 341 1018 also comes with the

1.2 Plug 2. Stop buffer
To make servicing easier, plug 1135 145 9000 was
replaced with design 1135 145 9001.
The stop buffer (1) is used to further improve the
guiding behaviour and guide rigidity, and the
geometry of the stop buffer has been changed (2).
The previous stop buffer 1125 791 2810 was
replaced with design 1133 791 5900.

The new plugs with spring arms are easier to insert
in the blind holes (arrows).
Service note
Used plugs must not be refitted, as they are
damaged when pulled off!
The new plugs can also be installed in older Left: previous stop buffer 1125 791 2810
machines. The plugs 1135 145 9001 also come with Right: new stop buffer 1133 791 5900

WARNING! The plugs for the muffler must always
be in place. Failure to have the plugs in place can
allow wood chips and debris to collect inside the
muffler screw access holes, creating a fire hazard.
Dimension (a) was increased 0.079“ (2 mm) to
1.10" (27,7 mm) on stop buffer 1124 791 2800.

3. Crankcase and ball bearing
To further extend the machine's life, the crankshaft
bearing in the crankcase has been improved.
The prior ball-bearing (1) 9503 003 0348 has been
replaced with the design 9503 003 0354.
The prior ball-bearing (2) 9523 003 4265 has been
replaced with the design 9523 003 4266.
Service note
The new ball-bearings can also be installed in older
machines.
4. Tightening torques
The tightening torques for the screws to affix the
front handle have been increased.
