Shafts
. Drive shafts run in lubricated flexible liners.
. The front end of the drive tube can be rotated
through 270° to swing the hook to the required 270°
     position.

other plug-in connections of the two drive shafts
    are splined.

Gearbox
. The gearbox features a combination of straight-
toothed 90° pinion and eccentric drive gear. The
eccentric drive gear converts rotary motion into
a linear and uniform reciprocating motion.
. The gearbox oil 0781 313 7002 is used for
    lubrication.

. The chest strap (1) helps prevent the shoulder
strap (2) coming off the shoulder when the
harvester is lifted during operation, i.e. when the
load on the shoulder strap is relieved.
                                                              1
. Only the chest strap needs to be opened to
quickly throw off the machine in an emergency.
