                        Press Fluid
                         OH 723

.   Coat the ends of the pipe and the elbow           .   The elbow connector (2) must be pushed fully
    connector with Press Fluid OH 723.                    home in the plug (3).

Note on Press Fluid OH 723
Only Press Fluid OH 723 0781 957 9000 may be
used. Press Fluid OH 723 produces a lubricant film
to simplify assembly. The lubricant evaporates
within a short time and the pipe and elbow
connector fit securely.
Never use oil as lubricant. Oil does not evaporate
and the pipe and elbow connector can work loose.

                                                      .   Pipe and hose end must be aligned.

.   First insert the end of the pipe in hose (1).
.   Then insert the end with elbow connector (2) in
    plug (3).

                                                      .   Pipe must be located in the guide with the hose
                                                          flush with the upper edge of the guide.

2.      Holder

The hose on the fuel pump is secured with the new   .   Slide the holder into place first at position (1),
holder (1) 1137 028 1500.                               then at position (2).
                                                    .   The lug (3) must fit round the edge and engage
                                                        in place.

Service notes

                                                    .   The hose must not protrude more than 0.039 in
.    Push the spark plug terminal down.
                                                        (1 mm) beyond the holder.

3.       Cable retainer

                                                       .   First clip the retainer into place at position (3),
                                                           then at position (4).
                                                       .   The lug (5) must fit round the edge and engage
                                                           in place.

The short circuit wire (2) on the ignition module is
secured with the new cable retainer (1)
1137 448 1201.

Service notes

                                                       .   Snap-fit the short circuit wire into the cable
                                                           retainer.

.    Slide the cable retainer (1) under the short
     circuit wire (2).
