The new .325" Rapid Micro Comfort 3
(.325" RMC 3) saw chains with low kickback and
low vibrations are designed for low kickback
tendency and low vibrations as well as high cutting
performance.
The .325" RMC 3 saw chains transmit fewer
vibrations from the chain to the guide bar. The result
is a low level of vibrations with high cutting
performance.
The .325" RMC 3 is a low-kickback (green) chain.
The drive link is extended upwards with a hump (1)
to guide the cutter into the wood thus permitting
smooth running and reducing the kickback
tendency.

The cutters are identical with those on 1.2 Function
.325" Rapid Micro Comfort (.325" RMC) saw chain.
The new saw chains are available with drive link
gauges of .050“ (1.3 mm), .058“ (1.5 mm) and .063“
(1.6 mm).
When the cutting edge contacts the wood, the cutter
gently moves back and most of the impact energy is
absorbed by the saw chain.
1.3 Identifying features of the
Rapid Micro Comfort 3
As on the Rapid Micro Comfort, the heel of the
running face on the cutters and tie straps of the
Rapid Micro Comfort 3 is bevelled – the clearance
between cutter and guide bar allows the cutters to
tip back gently when cutting.

Replacing tie straps
The previous tie straps (without bevelled heel) are
used for replacing tie straps between the cutters.
Cutting rolls of chain to length
As before, green colored tie straps without bevelled
heel are enclosed with the rolls of saw chain. The tie
straps between the cutters have no influence on the
vibration-reducing function of the saw chain.
