1. Gear Box
1.1 Gear housing / thrust washers
In conjunction with the standardization of parts, gear
box 4601 640 0100 is replaced by the new version
4601 640 0101 which has already been used for
some time on the MM 55.
The new gear box differs from the previous version
through the different shape of the housing halves.

Previous and new versions are distinguished by the
following features:
- To date, the thrust washers (arrows)
4601 642 8700 were fitted on both sides of the
previous gear box. These washers are now
integrally cast and integrated into the new
housing halves.
1.1.1 Service note
The thrust washers 4601 642 8700 must be used
when installing the previous versions of the gear box
