Fuel tank, connector, O-ring
Used connectors 4282 350 1400 and O-rings must
not be reused.
After removal, a used connector must be replaced
by a new connector 4282 350 1400 with O-ring.

Supply of spare parts
The O-ring 9645 948 7534 will no longer be
available separately.

Leaks may develop if connector (1) with O-ring (2) is
reused. The O-ring may be crushed during
installation, thus losing its ability to act as a seal.

Service notes
. During assembly, coat the O-ring and bead with
Press Fluid 0781 957 9000.
The fuel tank must always be tested for leaks

after assembly.
. Connect pump 0000 850 1300 to connector
(arrow) and supply 0.5 bar of pressure to fuel
tank.
This pressure must be maintained for at least
20 seconds. If the pressure drops, locate the leak:
. Verify the connector and O-ring have been fitted
correctly.

. Examine the fuel tank for signs of damage.
1 2 . Check the tank vent.
. Drain fuel tank.
. Disconnect fuel supply hose (1).
. Install connector (2) 0000 855 9200 to fuel
supply hose.
