1.1 STIHL 4-MIX® Engine
The 4-MIX® incorporates a patented STIHL
lubrication system. Engine lubrication is provided by
the fuel mixture of gasoline and engine oil.
Compared to a conventional four-stroke gasoline
engine, the 4-MIX® engine has no separate oil
supply in the crankcase.
The STIHL 4-MIX® engine uses the same 50:1
fuel/oil mixture as all other STIHL two-stroke

                                                                                                                         273TI003 KN
engines.
The benefits of this new concept are:
The toolless clamp enables simple adjustment of

                                                   273TI002 KN

The toolless filler cap with a hinged flap simplifies

The 4-point antivibration system dampens
vibrations from the engine and cutting tool.

Most of these PDFs embed fonts with a shifted character map, so the text above was recovered rather than copied — read it as a faithful but imperfect transcription, and treat the page image above each block as the authority where the two disagree — the figures exist only there, because they are vector drawings that text extraction cannot keep.
