1. Purge primer
In the future, the previous purge primer (1)
1130 350 6200 with smooth connectors (2, 3) will be
replaced by the new purge primer (4)
0000 350 6202 with barbed connectors (5, 6). In
addition, the geometry (arrows) of the new purge
primer (4) has been changed in relation to the
previous version (1) at the points were it attaches to
the filter base (see section 2).
The smooth connectors (2, 3) of the previous purge
primer (1) are arranged in line; the barbed
connectors (5, 6) of the new purge primer (4) are
diagonally offset.

1.2 Service note 2. Filter base
To ensure that the fuel system does not leak:
. Fuel hoses should only be connected and
disconnected by hand in order to avoid
damaging the connector. Sharp-edged pliers,
screwdrivers etc. must not be used nor should
fuel hoses be cut open with a knife or similar
implement.
. Fuel hoses must not be reused after being
disconnected, they must always be replaced by
new hoses. Fuel hoses may become over
extended when disconnected.
. Only install new fuel hoses dry or with the aid

The fuel supply hose must be installed on the short
connector (1), the fuel return hose on the long
connector (2). Push new fuel hoses onto the
connectors as far as possible.
