  1.1      Adjustment range
                                                              In STIHL Cutquik® TS 800 cut-off machine, the
                                                              adjustment range (A and B respectively) of the
               2                     2                        guard will be determined by the stop
                                                              pin (1, see b 1.3) installed into the support
                                                              (see b 1.2) and by the lugs (arrows) molded onto
                                                              the guard (2).

                                                                   The new stop pin (1) 4224 691 0101 is installed into
      2                                                            the new support (2) 4224 790 5303 and defines the
                                                                   adjustment range (see b 1.1) together with the
                                                                   lugs molded onto the guard.

The previous support (1) 4224 790 5302 is being
replaced by the new version (2) 4224 790 5303.
The new support (2) 4224 790 5303 differs in that it
has a threaded hole (3) for installing in the stop pin
(see b 1.3).

Spare parts
The previous support (1) 4224 790 5302 is no
longer available. The new version (2)
4224 790 5303 with the threaded hole (3) can also
be used for older machines with the previous
support 4224 790 5302.
The previous versions of the "support with guard"
(see summary) are eliminated as spare parts and
will no longer be offered in the future. The individual
parts (see spare parts list) remain available for older
machines.

                                                                  The "support with guard" is mounted on the inboard
                                                                  side by the manufacturer.
                                                                  The "support with guard" can also be mounted on
                                                                  the outboard side depending on requirements.
                                                                  Assembly on the inboard side is recommended for
                                                                  better balance.

.   To relax the V-belt, loosen the nuts (1) – do not
    unscrew the nuts (1) from the studs                          .   Remove stop pin (1)
.   Turn the tensioning nut (2) counterclockwise
    with the combination wrench – approx. 1/4 turn,
    max. to stop = 0
.   Unscrew nuts (1) from the studs – nuts (1) are
    fastened to the belt guard so that they are
    secured against loss

                                                                 .   Turn the guard so that it is in the position shown

                                                                 .   Install and tighten the stop pin (1)
                                                                 .   Move the adjusting lever (2) to position (A)
                                                                 .   Insert and tighten down the screws (3)
                                                                 .   Press in sealing plugs (4)

                                                                    .     Rotate the guard forwards and backwards as far
.   Fit the "support with guard" (1) on the outboard                      as possible – adjustment range (A) must be

                                                                    .     Remove the V-belt guard
                                                                    .     Remove V-belt
                                                                    .     Remove "support with guard"
