The previous carburetor HS-314A – 4224 120 0600 The following service notes refer to the following

For machines in which the previous carburetor
HS-314A – 4224 120 0600 was replaced by the new
carburetor WJ-114A – 4224 120 0650, the new set
of gaskets 4224 007 1019 is offered as a
replacement.

3.1 Identifying the Carburetor 3.3 Determining Spare Parts
Determine the spare parts and, if necessary, adjust
the carburetor depending on the installed
combination of "cylinder with piston" and carburetor.
The following combinations of "cylinder with piston"
and carburetor are permitted and can be installed:
– Combination 1:
previous "cylinder with piston" 4224 020 1202
314A and previous carburetor HS-314A –
WJ-114A 4224 120 0600, see b 3.4
– Combination 2:
previous "cylinder with piston" 4224 020 1202
and new carburetor WJ-114A – 4224 120 0601,
see b 3.5
– Combination 3:
new "cylinder with piston" 4224 020 1205 and

4224 120 0600 is replaced with the new carburetor
WJ-114A – 4224 120 0650, then the included
STIHL 4224 gasket 4224 129 0903 and the included hose
XXXX 3.1x5.7x95 mm (3.7") must also be replaced.

Basic setting without limiter cap
. High speed screw (H):
. Replace the previous gasket (1) 4224 129 0900 1.75 turns open
between carburetor (2) and filter base (3) with . Low speed screw (L):
the new version (4) 4224 129 0903 1 turn open
. Idle speed screw (LA):
Replacing the hose as required, the abrasive wheel must not move
when idling
3.6 Combination 3 – new "cylinder with
piston" 4224 020 1205 and new
carburetor WJ-114A – 4224 120 0601
