The previous fuel tank 4282 350 0403 with toolless
filler cap is being replaced by the new version fuel
tank 4282 350 0405 with threaded filler cap.

2.1 Service note: modified fuel hose routing Installing a new fuel suction hose
The new fuel hoses must be shortened to the
following lengths before installation:
– Fuel return line 0000 937 5006 2.2 x 5.4 mm,
R5 to a length of 395 mm (15.5“) 3
– Fuel suction hose 3.1 x 5.7 mm, R5 to a length
of 370 mm (14.5“) 2
As described in Service Manual BR 500, 550, 600:
