1.1 Advantages
3005 008 3403 1/4"P High cutting performance (approx. 30% more) with
25cm / 10"
very good cutting quality and a substantial weight
56 advantage (approx. 28% lighter) – in comparison
with a STIHL DUROMATIC® C cutting attachment.
1.2 Saw chain
Only the STIHL 1/4" STIHL PICCO™ Micro 3
689TI174 KN
(71 PM3) saw chain can be used on the new guide
bars with a groove width of .043" (1.1 mm) and a
1/4" STIHL PICCO™ sprocket nose.
The range of STIHL guide bars for 1/4" STIHL
PICCO™ pitch saw chains is being expanded with a
10" (25 cm) cutting length and an 8-tooth sprocket
nose.
Simultaneously, the previous guide bar with a 12"
(30 cm) cutting length and a 10-tooth sprocket nose
is being switched to an 8-tooth sprocket nose.
The new three-part guide bar is characterized by a
8-tooth 1/4" STIHL PICCO™ sprocket nose, a
groove width of .043" (1.1 mm), and a 3005 bar
connection.

First-class guide bars for pruning, limbing, and PICCO™
cutting with the nose of the guide bar in combination
with the reduced-kickback, low-vibration 1/4" STIHL
PICCO™ Micro 3 saw chain.
Application areas for these cutting attachment are 1 2 3
cordless electric and gasoline chain saws with an
engine/motor power of approx. 1.3 bhp (1.0 kW) as
well as pole pruners with an engine power of
approx. 2.0 bhp (1.5 kW).
Ideal for gardening and landscaping, tending

stands, tree surgery and carpentry.
In future, the sharpening set 5605 007 1000 will be
available for the 1/4" STIHL PICCO™ chain pitch.
