Tank vent with O-ring
The tank vent 0000 350 5800 is exclusively Remove tank vent
available with fitted O-ring 9645 948 7514.
. Drain fuel tank into an approved container
The O-ring will no longer be available as a separate
spare part in future. . Remove carburetor box cover
. Clean air filter and surrounding area
. Remove air filter

Tank vent 0000 350 5800 with O-ring
. Unscrew nuts (1) and pull baffle (2) and filter
Service note base (3) off the collar nuts
The specific national safety regulations and the
safety instructions in the user's manual must be
observed if the chainsaw has to be started.

. Clean tank vent (4) and surrounding area . Center tank vent in bore
. Pry tank vent (4) off with a flat screwdriver – . Press tank vent in as far as possible –
insert the screwdriver almost horizontally under it must click into place
the edge of the tank vent and support it on the
mount (see arrow)
Test for leaks
Important:
The tank vent must be held when it is pried off 5
otherwise it will fly out. fo
Install new tank vent

. Disconnect hose (5) from carburetor
. Connect carburetor and crankcase tester
1106 850 2905 to hose (5)

. Apply a pressure of 0.5 bar (7 psi) to
the fuel tank
. Coat O-ring and bead with oil all-round
. The pressure reading must hold for at least
20 seconds – if the pressure drops, the leak
must be located and the defective part replaced
. Reassemble parts in reverse order
