  1.      Clutch, clutch shoes
  Clutches with modified clutch shoes are used in the
  model series listed above in order to further optimize
  their operation.

                                                           The mutually engaging guide strips (1) improve
                                                           lateral guidance of the clutch shoes. This reduces
                                                           their tilting movement, as well as wear between the
                                                           clutch shoes and clutch carrier, and between the

Service note
Previous and new clutch shoes cannot be used in           Note for MS 260
combination and must therefore always be replaced         Only the clutch springs 0000 997 5600 (with six
as complete sets. The new clutch can also be              spring windings, wire thickness 0.055 in (1.4 mm)
installed in older machines and the new clutch            may be used in combination with the new clutch

versions.                                                 5626 (with seven spring windings, wire thickness
                                                          0.049 in (1.25 mm) are no longer used. Remaining
                                                          stocks may be used for repairing older clutches
                                                          1121 160 2050 (in combination with the previous
                                                          clutch shoes).
