1.3 Supply of spare parts 1.4.1 Rework
In the future, the previous individual parts throttle . Remove tank housing
cable and support will no longer be available from
the factory. The new version throttle cable with
support can also be used in older machines, see
b 1.4.
The previous throttle cable 1138 180 1102 may not
be combined with the new version throttle cable
support. The previous throttle cable may only be
combined with the previous throttle cable supports
1138 182 4000 and 1138 182 4001.

Combinations of the previous and new version are
not permitted.
1.4 Service note
With the introduction of the new throttle cable with
support, the throttle cable support mount on the tank
housing will be adapted. In the event of servicing,

the tank housing must be reworked.
The modified mount for the throttle cable support
has already been implemented in the tank housings
. Using a flat file, file down the bracket (arrow)
1138 350 0805 (MS 441) and 1138 350 0806
until it is even with the base (1)

combined with the previous versions throttle cable . Deburr the surfaces that you have filed
and throttle cable support.
1.4.2 Installation

2. Fastening the generator 3. Flywheel, tightening torque
The tightening torque for the crankshaft/flywheel
connection is being increased from 28 Nm to
33 Nm.
Service note
Before mounting the flywheel, clean and degrease
the crankshaft stub and the hole in the flywheel hub.

Spline screw 9022 313 0659 for fastening the
generator is being replaced by the version
9022 313 0658.
The new microencapsulated screw no longer has to
be used with thread-locking adhesive.
Before renewed assembly, coat microencapsulated
screws with medium strength thread-locking
adhesive (Loctite 242 or Loctite 243).
