1. Heating element
In machines with electrically heated handles, the
previous heating element 1140 430 6003 is being
replaced by the new version 1140 430 6004. An
additional clip 1140 431 0200 is mounted on the
new heating element. The clip increases the surface
pressure between the heating element and the
circuit board. This improves the transmission of the
heat from the heating element to the rear handle.

The new heating element 1140 430 6004 with clip
1140 431 0200 can also be installed in machines 3
belonging to the previous version.

2.1 Fuel hose between fuel tank and
carburetor
From now on, for the machines MS 261, 261 C, 271,
271 C, 291, 291 C and MS 311, 362, 362 C, 391,
replacement hoses between the fuel tank and
carburetor will be made of fluorinated propylene
monomer (FPM).
The new fuel hoses can also be installed in older
machines.
2.2 Fuel hose in fuel tank
From now on, all MS 311, 362, 362 C, 391
machines will be fitted with a shape-optimized hose
in the fuel tank. This improves the proper positioning
of the pickup body in the fuel tank and reduces the
tendency of the pickup body to get caught in the fuel
tank.
The new fuel hose can also be installed in older
machines.
